Tim and friends, thank you so much for performing at
our reception. We had so much fun and you were absolutely fantastic. We've heard nothing but compliments from our guests regarding
you and can't wait to see you again soon.
Thanks - Allie and
What a great night! Every one of the musicians and singers were top-notch, Your ability
to pace the songs to match the party was phenomenal. The ability of the band to switch types of music and music of different
decades seamlessly was fabulous. Everyone, from my 80 year old aunt, who loved the Whitney Huston and the Beatles, to the
younger brother of the groom, who danced his heart out, was happy. Many of the guests were raving about how great the band
performed. Your individual attention to us in the weeks ahead with the songs for the ceremony and your help with the microphone
for the priest were invaluable. I have been to many weddings and many charity functions, some with so-called regional talent
bands that I know were more expensive by far, and your band was better than any of them! A D-J would have been a poor substitute
and a big mistake for us. The Tim Talbert Project helped make the wedding a rousing success. Thanks for everything.
Very truly yours,
Linda Gosnell (mother of the bride)
What’s the pocket? No, it ain’t those things on the front
of your dungarees! It’s where the groove is. It’s the place in time where the backbeat lands for maximum funkifying.
It’s the space in our id the bass fills, compelling us to move in ways that would cause our grandmas to blush and turn
away, God rest their souls. It’s the connection between the harmony, the melody, the rhythm, and the astral plane. That’s
So I have no idea how long Tim Talbert
and his sturdy, seasoned Project can live in the woods, nor how they are behind the wheel. But it doesn’t matter, because
they know where the pocket is. They always know where the pocket is. In fact, for all we know, they might have constructed
the damned pocket in their spare time, using chicken grease, hot asphalt, and spare parts from the Mothership.

As Event Chair for the 2012 Disaster Blaster for the Bluegrass Chapter of the American Red Cross I was so
pleased with having the Tim Talbert Project as our entertainment for the evening. They were able to provide dinner music so
people could chat and mingle and then later in the night they were able to crank it for a party! We never know if folks are
going to dance at our event, but the Tim Talbert Project was able to turn up the party and get folks out of their seats! We
were so pleased with their talents and for their professionalism!
